Campfire Meal

By the Fire - Evenings at SouthFork

SouthFork Dining Options

Where every ember tells a story, and every evening glows a little brighter.

At SouthFork, the fire is more than warmth—it’s a ritual. It’s where meals begin, days wind down, and memories are made beneath the stars.

Each evening, we invite guests to gather around the campfire for complimentary nightly s’mores. As the sun dips behind the ridge and the mountain air cools, kids and grown-ups alike settle in with graham crackers in hand, letting the river’s rhythm and the fire’s glow take over.

Want to elevate the experience? Reserve a Chef’s Table—a private, open-air dinner by the fire or inside our rustic canvas teepee. Expect curated tastings, wine pairings, and slow-cooked meals under the night sky.

On select nights, you’ll find wine tastings and fireside bites hosted by our team—just check the chalkboard calendar in the lodge. And when the breeze smells like mesquite? That means open-fire cooking is on. Think grilled favorites, smoky mains, and the kind of food that tastes even better outdoors.

We also host hands-on classes throughout the season—Dutch oven workshops, backcountry BBQ, and cooking sessions with our chef or guest chefs who know how to pair wild ingredients with wild places.

At SouthFork, By the Fire isn’t just a place. It’s a feeling. A tradition. A table without walls. And we saved you a seat.
