At SouthFork Lodge, we believe working in the wilderness is more than just a job—it’s a way of life. Tucked deep in the Boise National Forest along the banks of the Payette River, we offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be part of something meaningful, rooted in nature, hospitality, and community. Whether you're serving guests in our lodge, guiding adventure tours, preparing fresh meals from local ingredients, or helping maintain the quiet charm of the property, your work has a purpose.
We’re looking for passionate individuals who bring heart, hustle, and a deep respect for the outdoors. Life at SouthFork means early mornings, hard work, and wild beauty at every turn. In return, we offer a supportive team, shared pride in what we’re building, and a front-row seat to Idaho’s untamed splendor. If you're ready for a season (or more) of purpose and connection—come join us.

Housekeeping, concierge, and operations roles require attention to detail and a love for service. If you’re the kind of person who notices the little things and takes pride in creating a peaceful stay, there’s a place for you here.
Shared Vision & Shared Responsibility
At SouthFork Lodge, we operate as one team—no matter your role. Whether you're folding linens, leading a river excursion, or baking the morning muffins, your work shapes the guest experience. We believe in showing up for one another, stepping in where help is needed, and taking shared pride in the lodge we call home. The wilderness doesn’t run on a clock, and neither do we. Flexibility, respect, and a team-first mindset are at the core of what we do. Together, we create something greater than the sum of our roles—a place of connection, care, and unforgettable moments.
Staff Housing & Schedule at SouthFork
We know that living and working in the heart of the Boise National Forest comes with unique challenges—and unmatched rewards. With a local population under 100, we’ve built thoughtful staff accommodations to support those who make the SouthFork experience possible.
We offer a dedicated 6-room bunkhouse, each with private bedrooms, and two additional private suites for staff. Employees check in and out like guests, turning over their space for the next team member—a respectful system that keeps housing fair, clean, and ready for all.
SouthFork operates on a flexible 3.5-on, 3.5-off schedule, designed for full-time, 40-hour weeks. That means you’ll work hard, support a boutique group of guests, and then have half your week free to rest, explore, or enjoy lodge amenities—including adventure rentals when available.
This lifestyle isn’t for everyone—but if you're adaptable, self-motivated, and excited about mountain living,
