The Fork  at SouthFork - OPEN

Where the river splits, the laughter lingers, and the milkshakes never melt.

Perched right along the river’s edge under a canopy of tall pines, The Fork is where the hum of conversation meets the hush of the South Fork of the Payette. This is our most laid-back spot on the property—no dress code, no pressure, just the soft clink of forks and the soundtrack of nature doing its thing.

In Lowman, we like things a little slower, a little simpler. The Fork was made for that pace. It’s a place where milkshakes are legendary, hot dogs are made to be eaten with your hands, and lunch can stretch into sunset without anyone checking the time. Kids can sprawl out on picnic benches, couples can catch the last rays of the day, and friends can gather for local brews or ice cream without worrying about tablecloths or reservations.

The name? It holds more than one meaning. Sure, it honors SouthFork Lodge, our home base. But it also nods to the fork in the river right in front of you—where water parts, meanders, and reunites, just like the stories we swap and the paths we take. And then there’s the fork in your hand, an invitation to dig in, stay awhile, and maybe share a bite with someone new.

Simple food done right. Smiles that don’t wear out. And a place that asks for nothing more than your presence. At The Fork, you’ll find room for everyone, plenty of shade, a little live music when the mood’s right, and the kind of atmosphere that invites you to sit a little longer, talk a little slower, and maybe grab one more scoop of huckleberry ice cream before you call it a night.

The Fork – Because some of the best memories are made outdoors.
