TrailHead Cafe – at SouthFork - OPEN
Coffee. Pastries. Good Start - Start here, wander far.
Mornings at SouthFork start at the Trailhead—where steam rises with the sun and “Joe” might be your rafting guide, your trail buddy, or just a strong cup of coffee. Around here, it’s always hot, fresh, and ready.

We proudly brew Sonamus Coffee, roasted weekly by our friends at Café Mule—yes, the one with Gus the mule. This is forest-roasted fuel for whatever adventure lies ahead.

What’s on Deck:
-
Fresh-baked pastries from our kitchen
-
Local surprises, like huckleberry scones from down the road
-
Drip and specialty coffee drinks—no oat milk frothers, but plenty of soul
-
Homemade desserts that deserve a moment
-
Energy drinks for the trail-bound

No, this isn’t a city café. It’s the Boise National Forest—and that’s the point.
But we do serve:
-
Quality drip and specialty coffee drinks
-
Homemade desserts worth lingering over
-
Energy drinks for the trail-ready

Take your cup to go and hit the trail, or settle into a rocking chair and let the sunrise slow you down. Pull up a seat on the porch, perch by the river, or just breathe in the pine-heavy air and let the day ease in. The Trailhead Café is your starting line—for your hike, your float, your thoughts, or your next cup.

Whether you're gearing up for whitewater or winding down from the wild, the Trailhead Café is your first stop—and likely your favorite.

With a passion for baking and a heart for hospitality, most are handcrafted in-house, drawing on seasonal flavors, local ingredients, and just the right amount of creativity.
